Precision in Practice

Strategic Legal Partnership for Dynamic Businesses

Growing businesses move fast. Employment questions arise quickly, and compliance issues escalate when guidance is reactive.

Traditional hourly billing punishes communication and creates budget uncertainty. Sharpe Counsel offers predictable monthly support, direct access to senior counsel, and a proactive legal strategy aligned with your pace.

The Cost of Being Reactive

  • Workforce issues account for 20-30% of legal budgets. Reactive defense costs often exceed $150k+.
  • Commercial deal velocity is slowed by traditional hourly traps. Every delayed contract is delayed revenue.

Core Functional Expertise

Employment & HR

Practical guidance on hiring, compliance, risk assessments, and policy development.

Commercial Contracts

Sophisticated negotiation and drafting of sponsorship, partnership, and vendor agreements.

NIL & Brand Protection

Securing intellectual property rights and navigating Name, Image, and Likeness landscapes.

Corporate & Restructuring

I devote a substantial portion of my practice to business restructuring and M&A matters. I advise employers on employment issues related to reductions in force and other business restructuring and downsizing matters, including compliance with federal and state Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Acts and the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (OWPBA). In addition, I perform preacquisition due diligence for corporate clients and private equity firms to identify employment obligations and liabilities that may impact the value and structure of a corporate transaction. I also provide crisis support/advice and assistance in entity formation.
